Initial Consultation and Examination in Heswall

After being welcomed to the practice by our reception team, you will be offered a tour of the practice to familiarise yourself with the facilities.

We will ask you to fill in a medical history form and a short questionnaire so we are fully informed of your requirements- this can be completed in advance of your visit using our patient portal, or upon arrival.

Your dentist will then escort you into the treatment room and will ask a series of questions to understand your individual needs and your dental health goals.

A thorough examination will then be carried out following our Twelve Point Oral Health Check (see below), we will then discuss our findings, giving you all the information you require to understand your dental health status. We will offer a comprehensive breakdown of all treatment options, including their pros and cons, and provide a full fee estimate.

We aim to develop a partnership with you so that you can be proactive in sustaining and enhancing your dental health.

10. Oral Cancer Screening.
11. Oral Hygiene Assessment.
12. X-ray examination as needed.
